Al-Waleed bin Ṭalal Al Saud is a Saudi Arabian businessman, philanthropist, investor and member of the Saudi royal family.
He was indexed on Time magazine's Time 100, an annual listing of the hundred most influential people withinside the world, in 2008. Al-Waleed is a grandson of Ibn Saud, who is the first Saudi Arabian king, and a nephew of all Saudi Arabian kings, and a grandson of Riad Al Solh.
He is the founder and 95 per cent owner of the Kingdom Holding Company, a business company with investments in companies withinside the financial services, tourism and hospitality, mass media, entertainment, agriculture, retail, petrochemicals, aviation, technology and real-estate sectors.
