Edgar Steven Davids (born 1973) is a Dutch-Surinamese former professional football player and the Portuguese side's current coach, Olhanense.
After beginning their career with Ajax, winning several domestic and international titles, he subsequently played in Italy for Milan. He later enjoyed a successful spell with Juventus before being advanced out to Barcelona in 2004. Davids went on to play for Inter Milan & Tottenham Hotspur before returning to Ajax. Having struggled with injuries for 2 years, Davids returned to competitive football during a brief spell with Crystal Palace before retiring at 37. In 2012, he was selected as player-manager at the English League Two club Barnet. He resigned by mutual agreement as a manager in 2014. He was capped seventy-four times by the Netherlands at the international level, scoring six goals, represented his country at the FIFA World Cup (one time) and the UEFA European Championship (three times).

One of the greatest and most noticeable players of his generation, Davids often stood out on the football field due to his hair and the protective goggles he wore due to glaucoma. A combative and energetic yet innovative and skilful mid-fielder, Davids was known as "The Pitbull" by Louis van Gaal because of his marking capability, aggression, and hard-tackling style of play. In 2004, he was one of Pele's players to feature in the FIFA 100, his list of the world's greatest living footballers.
Davids played in the Euro 2000 when he was named for the UEFA "Team of the Tournament". During the Netherlands' Euro 2004 qualifying matches, Davids scored the Netherlands' first qualifying goal in their opening 3–0 victory against Belarus and subsequently bossed the midfield in five of the remaining seven Group 3 fixtures, both legs of the play-off victory against Scotland.
In 2020, Davids was appointed assistant coach of Dutch Eerste Divisie club Telstar. On January 4, 2021, Davids was announced as the Portuguese side's head coach, S.C. Olhanense.
