Ulisses Correia e Silva - a journey from businessman to Prime minister

Jose Ulisses de Pina Correia e Silva (born 4 June 1962) is a Cape Verdean businessman, economist, manager, university professor, politician and current PM of Cape Verde. He got down to business after his party, the Development for Popular government, won the 20 March 2016 parliamentary political decision.
Ulisses Correia e Silva graduated from the Association and Business The board from the Higher Institute of Economics and Management (ISEG) of the Specialized College of Lisbon in 1988. Silva began his vocation in the financial area. He was the overseer of the organization at the Bank of Cape Verde from 1989 to 1994. He additionally educated at the Jean Piaget College of Cape Verde.
Silva was also the leader of UCLA (the Union of Afro-Pan-American-Asiatic Lusophony Capital Cities) in 2013 and later turned into IDC Africa's leader in November 2014.
In June 2016, Silva and Account Priest Olavo Correia met with agents from the Global Money related Asset to examine Cape Verde's economy. A few months after the fact, in September 2016, Silva and individuals from his administration met with the IMF to examine the 2016 Article IV consultation.
Silva was reappointed to the authority of the Development for Movement for Democracy(MPD), with 99% of the votes cast, in February 2020. Accordingly, he is the MPD competitor to the 2021 governing bodies, running for his own progression.
